MONTX P10 Concept

2026

GAC Commercial Vehicles introduced the MONTX P10 at Auto China 2026 as one of the first two concepts from its new MONTX brand. Developed as a pickup-shaped mobility platform for exploration beyond paved roads, the P10 has a high-set body, short overhangs, substantial ground clearance and large off-road tyres. Its grey exterior uses sharply defined surfaces and exposed functional elements, while additional lighting equipment is positioned above the windscreen.

The rear load area carries a compact electric vertical-take-off-and-landing aircraft within an exposed carbon-fibre frame. MONTX developed this arrangement to combine ground transport with short-distance airborne access, allowing the vehicle and aircraft to operate as connected parts of the same system. The concept therefore uses its pickup bed for an integrated mobility device rather than conventional cargo alone.

The P10 uses four independently driven wheels, torque-vectoring control and long-travel suspension. Its electronic systems create a three-dimensional representation of the terrain ahead and alter the suspension according to the approaching surface. The vehicle can also activate additional lighting when visibility deteriorates and calculate routes for obtaining supplies before reaching a remote stopping point.

MONTX has not published the vehicle’s dimensions, motor output, battery capacity, driving range, payload or production timetable. The P10 remains a concept demonstrating the brand’s proposed combination of off-road transport, automated terrain assessment and vehicle-supported flight.
