At the Geneva Auto Salon in 2015, Tata Motors unveiled the stunning Tata Hexa concept SUV. This muscular and sporty vehicle was designed with an active lifestyle in mind, offering elegance and sophistication in a powerful package.
The Hexa concept introduced a new design language for future Tata SUVs, with flowing exterior lines and a unique appearance. The sculpted bonnet, sweeping roofline, and large 19-inch alloy wheels gave the Hexa concept a modern and exclusive look.
Inside, the Hexa concept was just as impressive. Luxurious leather upholstery could seat up to six passengers in comfort, with smartly designed flexible seats and soft-touch materials. The cabin was the longest in its class, offering class-leading comfort with mood lighting and a range of high-tech features including automatic climate control and an audiophile-grade infotainment system.
Under the hood, the Hexa concept was powered by an all-new 2.2 litre VARICOR 400 diesel engine, delivering 115 kW and 400 Nm of torque. Paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, the Hexa concept also featured a torque-on-demand all-wheel drive system for tackling difficult terrain.
Safety was a top priority in the Hexa concept, with features such as 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control, projector beam automatic headlamps, and rain sensing wipers ensuring the well-being of all occupants.
