The Rinspeed Viper Veleno was a stunning and powerful vehicle showcased by the Swiss car customizer Rinspeed in the 1990s. This one-of-a-kind car was based on the Dodge Viper RT/10 and featured a striking viper-green color that set it apart from other cars on the road.
The exterior of the Rinspeed Viper Veleno was truly unique, with customized components that enhanced its aggressive lines. The front skirt, rear view mirrors, rear roll protection, and rear end were all modified to give the car a futuristic and appealing look. The original one-piece wheels were replaced with three-piece O.Z. wheels, equipped with Pirelli P Zero tires for improved handling and traction.
Inside, the Rinspeed Viper Veleno featured a luxurious interior covered in a high-quality artificial material called "Vinerus." This material, also used by Maison Mollerus Inc for their handbags and luggage, provided not only a stylish appearance but also weather resistance and durability. The instrument panel and center console were painted to match the car's color, giving the car a high-tech and cohesive look.
The Rinspeed Viper Veleno was not just about looks - it also packed a powerful punch under the hood. With a ten-cylinder, eight-liter engine, and electronically controlled nitro-oxide injection, the car's power output was increased to an impressive 550 hp and 820 Nm of torque. The exhaust gases were routed through two catalytic converters on the side of the car for optimal performance.
Overall, the Rinspeed Viper Veleno was a true standout in the world of custom cars, combining stunning design with high-performance capabilities. It was a vehicle that truly turned heads wherever it went and left a lasting impression on all who saw it.
