Classic MotorCar Company was an American automobile manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois, that operated briefly from 1916 to 1917. The company produced vehicles characterized by conventional designs, notably featuring a 20-horsepower four-cylinder Lycoming engine. The models offered included a five-seater tourer and a three-seater cloverleaf roadster.
Production of Classic MotorCar vehicles ceased in 1917 due to component shortages that arose as a consequence of World War I. In 1920, there were plans announced for a revival of the brand in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, with intentions to produce the Classic Four and Classic Six models. However, this revival project ultimately did not materialize, and the brand faded from the automotive landscape.
