ArBenz was an American automobile manufacturer that operated from 1911 to 1918, based in Chillicothe, Ohio. The company initially began as the Scioto Car Company in 1911, named after the Scioto River that flows through Chillicothe. In 1912, the company was rebranded as the ArBenz Car Company, named after its founder, Fred C. Arbenz. The name "ArBenz" was likely chosen to evoke a connection to the well-known German automotive industry.

The vehicles produced by ArBenz were primarily conventional tourers and roadsters, initially powered by a 30/40 horsepower four-cylinder engine. In 1916, the company introduced a more affordable model featuring a 17 horsepower Lycoming four-cylinder engine, which was priced at $625, significantly lower than the larger ArBenz models. This smaller model became the sole offering of the company until production ceased in 1918. Interestingly, despite being an automobile manufacturer, Fred C. Arbenz preferred to travel in a horse-drawn buggy.
