Baradat Esteve was a Spanish automobile manufacturer founded in 1922 in Barcelona by the Baradat brothers, Claudio and Carlos, with financial backing from Federico Esteve Anglada. The company was notable for producing a unique vehicle that featured an unconventional engine design, specifically a 4-piston Torus engine. This engine operated within an annular cylinder, which was distinct from traditional engine designs, and was originally intended for aircraft use. It was reported to deliver 110 brake horsepower at 16,000 rpm from a capacity of only 2 liters, although its capacity had to be calculated using an equivalence factor due to its atypical configuration.

The vehicle also incorporated innovative suspension technology, utilizing longitudinal coils that ran parallel to the chassis frame, reminiscent of the design used in the Citroën 2CV. The small factory operated by Esteve and his partner, Señor Cortina, initially held the agency for several car brands, including Austin, Maxwell, and Moon, and later for MG. It is estimated that only 12 Baradat Esteve cars were produced, although this number may include other vehicles, such as an Austin, which were used as test beds for the engine.
