Bambi was a Spanish automobile brand that operated from 1953 to approximately 1960. It was produced by Mecanicas Aleu SA, a company based in Barcelona that was primarily known for manufacturing motorcycles. The Bambi was characterized as a lightweight three-wheeled vehicle, designed with a doorless open two-seater body.
The Bambi was powered by a 125cc single-cylinder Hispano-Villiers engine, which drove the rear wheel via a chain. With a total weight of only 320 pounds (145 kilograms), the vehicle achieved a top speed of 45 miles per hour (75 kilometers per hour). Despite its brief production run, the Bambi represented a unique segment of the automotive market during its time.
