Anglada was a Spanish automobile manufacturer founded by Francisco Anglada Gallardo in Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, in 1901. Prior to venturing into car production, Anglada had established a reputation for manufacturing bicycles starting in 1896. The company produced a range of vehicles from 1901 to 1904, offering models equipped with single, two, and four-cylinder engines, with power outputs ranging from 6 to 36 horsepower. However, only the smaller engines were definitively produced.

The first model introduced by Anglada was a two-seater vehicle powered by a 6-horsepower single-cylinder engine, featuring tiller steering and a round radiator reminiscent of Renault designs. Among the notable sales, a 10-horsepower two-cylinder model was exported to Argentina and Uruguay, while King Alfonso XIII of Spain purchased a more powerful 24-horsepower four-cylinder model, which included a tonneau body, shaft drive to the rear wheels, and brakes on the rear wheels only.

Despite the initial success, Anglada faced financial difficulties, leading to the closure of the factory in 1904. Following this, Francisco Anglada transitioned to operating a car repair shop in Madrid. He passed away in 1917, leaving behind a legacy and 14 children.
