AmericaAutos SA was an automotive manufacturer based in Barcelona, Spain, operational from 1917 to 1922. The company was founded by Manuel Pazos, a notable figure in the automotive industry known for his numerous patents related to various automotive components.

The first model produced by AmericaAutos was the Type A, which was characterized by its complexity and prestige. This vehicle featured a patented valveless four-cylinder engine, a synchronized three-speed gearbox of its own design, and internally sprung wheels. Despite its advanced engineering, the Type A saw limited sales due to its intricate design.

In 1919, AmericaAutos introduced the Type B, a lighter car equipped with a small 760cc four-cylinder engine producing 6 to 8 horsepower. The Type B was popular among consumers and was often fitted with sporting bodywork. It gained recognition in motorsport, notably winning the Gold Medal of the Royal Automobile Club of Catalonia in the Test of Regularity in 1921. The Type B was available in various lengths, ranging from 4.3 to 5 meters.

In 1921, the company attempted to compete in the prestigious Penya Rhin Grand Prix with the Type C, a model based on the Type B but designed specifically for racing. This prototype featured lighter bodywork and enhanced power; however, it ultimately had to retire from the race, and only one prototype of the Type C was ever built.
