Figari was an Italian automotive brand that operated briefly in the mid-1920s. Founded by Gian Vittorio Figari and Professor Francesco Bonavoglia of the Milan Polytechnic, the company aimed to produce an advanced small car featuring an innovative 840cc supercharged four-cylinder two-stroke engine. This engine was reported to generate approximately 30 brake horsepower.
Despite the promising design and engineering, Figari faced significant financial challenges. The partners struggled to secure the necessary funding to commence production in Monza. As a result, only a single prototype of the vehicle was likely completed, and the brand ceased operations shortly thereafter, marking a short-lived chapter in the history of Italian automotive manufacturing.
