Feroldi was an Italian automotive manufacturer founded in 1912 by Enrico Feroldi in Turin. Initially, the company specialized in the production of carburettors before expanding its offerings to complete automobiles.
The sole model produced by Feroldi was the Tipo Unico, which featured a 3306cc side-valve four-cylinder engine. This engine, which was notable for its design of having cylinders cast in pairs, generated an output of 30 brake horsepower. The Tipo Unico's design bore a resemblance to contemporary Fiat models, reflecting the automotive styling trends of the time.
Production of the Tipo Unico was limited, and only a few units were manufactured. Following the car's production, Feroldi shifted focus to the manufacture of trucks, utilizing the same engine that powered their cars. This transition occurred in a new factory located in Saluzzo, marking a significant development in the company's operations.
