Ardita was an Italian automobile manufacturer founded in 1918 by Alfredo Gallanzi in Milan. The company emerged when Gallanzi acquired leftover stock of parts from Antonio Chiribiri, who had ceased car production. Utilizing these components, Gallanzi assembled a limited number of light cars powered by 1100 and 1300 cc four-cylinder side-valve engines.
Despite being equipped with contemporary features for the time, Ardita struggled to achieve significant sales. The brand's name was later adopted by Fiat for one of their medium-sized models, indicating a legacy that extended beyond its own production.
