Mazzanti Automobili released the teaser 9: the Hypercar of Luca Mazzanti will be the first street-legal car ever to use the technology of altering the airflow over the rear wing “Ala Soffiata”. Now only the last of the ten episodes is missing and then, this extreme version of Evantra will be presented at Salone Auto Torino – Parco Valentino in World Premiere. To increase the performances of the new 7.2 liter V8 bi-turbo engine, capable of 2,7 seconds from 0 to 100 and reaching 400 kph, developing more than 1200 Nm of torque, a new “Ala Soffiata” system to direct the airflow over the rear wing, was applied, thanks to the technologies used in aeronautics and in Formula 1. Mazzanti Automobili revealed almost entirely the technical data of the new Hypercar “EV-R”, which keeps up to the artisanal and tailor-made traditions: distinctive traits of the Tuscan Supercar and Hypercar manufacturer since its foundation, almost fifteen years ago.
“In order to create this extreme Hypercar, we applied technologies coming from motorsport that none else have ever used on street-legal car before” Luca Mazzanti explains “We were able to turn a passive force into an active one. The heat flow coming from the engine is thus extracted and directed to the rear wing “Ala Soffiata” which in this way works efficiently even at low speed, augmenting its positive effect with the increasing of the speed. The study and the great work behind this component are another example of the meticulous and impressive job done by Mazzanti Automobili Team, that thanks to its expertise and passion was able to achieve the goal of creating the most powerful street-legal Hypercar ever realized in Italy. This path made with teasers allowed us to leave a sign of the philosophy and the technique characterizing this project, that will last in the next years.. “
