It is finally here! Mazzanti Automobili Project EV-R lost its code name and now the most powerful street-legal Hypercar ever built in Italy is known as Evantra Millecavalli. 1000hp super automobile makes a world premiere at the Torino Show in Parco Valentino on the 8th of June.
It is the third model of this small company from Pontedera, Pisa. The first one - Antas - was presented at Top Marques Monaco 2006, then in was followed by Evantra's debut in 2013. The second model of this passionate team was so much well accepted and acclaimed that it was a natural step to make the best even better. The "standard" Evantra is powered by 7.0-liter V8 developing "only" 751hp and 860 Nm of torque. "Only" in terms of what her young sister is capable of!
It may look like and evolution of the second model, however Luca Mazzanti together with skillful artisans created an absolutely new and different car. The car received a totally reworked bodywork, completely redeveloped aerodynamics package. Notice front and large rear wing, extra spoilers and central splitter, roof scoop and rear diffuser! All details at all angles are rethinked, recreated for one and only goal in mind - this car must be fast! As fast as like no other car ever made in Italy!
The Millecavalli is powered by a new 7.2-liter twin-turbo engine developing 1000hp and 1200 Nm. The enormous amount of power and torque is transmitted to the rear wheels through a special six-speed sequential gearbox . As the car weighs only 1300kg its power-to-weight ratio of 769 hp/tone enables the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds. This car is seriously targeting at world's fastest cars. Mazzanti Automobili says that their car can hit an insane top speed of 250mph (over 400 km/h) and we want to see it in action, really!
Surely, you may ask what is the price of this road rocket. This is not revealed but that should not bother you in any way. Such cars are pieces of craftmanship and engineering. Created by enthusiasts for enthusiasts they have not only collectible value but also they are sculptures for human ambitions to achieve new limits. Moreover, three very happy customers are already in the waiting list for their cars. Each one of them will be hand-crafted to specific needs. Mazzanti Automobili will be present at Salone Auto Torino – Parco Valentino 2016, which will take place in the Piedmontese capital from the 8th until the 12th of June, with the World Premiere of “Evantra MILLECAVALLI”, the most powerful street-legal Hypercar ever made in Italy! Luca Mazzanti, founder and owner of the company that has his name since fifteen years, will present this extreme version of Evantra, which is the current and third model of the artisanal Supercar and Hypercar manufacturer from Tuscany. During the five days of the show, car enthusiasts can look at the first prototype of “Evantra MILLECAVALLI” that will be displayed at Mazzanti Automobili’s stand from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.
Evantra Millecavalli is equipped with a new 7.2 L V8 bi-turbo engine, capable of 1000 hp and of a torque higher than 1200 Nm directly to the rear wheels; this layout, combined with a specifically developed six-speed sequential gearbox, allows the Hypercar to destroy the 0-60 mph in only 2.7 seconds, reaching the speed of 250 mph, also thanks to the kerb weight of just 1300 kg. The brand new carbon-ceramic brakes, specifically developed for Mazzanti Automobili, exploiting Motorsport technology, permit to stop from 300 kph to 0 in only 7 seconds.
Luca Mazzanti affirms “Our new Hypercar, Evantra Millecavalli, is an arrival point for us. Not an absolute arrival, but the result of the meticulous work and the refining process that have been started since the delivery of the Evantra project. Our Atelier had to work really hard to develop such an important project, after only two years since the debut of the Supercar Evantra. Nevertheless, the passion, the enthusiasm and the excellent competences of my team and mine, permitted us to complete this goal partly paid-off by the first three “Millecavalli-clients” which commissioned their Hypercars already during the pure planning phase. The excellent performance of the MILLECAVALLI version marks an Italian record that makes us extremely proud. My tailor-made automobiles reflects my idea of Supercars entirely; in fact, I have been dreaming of my own car, different from all others, since I was a child. Every exemplar is thought to fully reflect the personality of the owner, still keeping the unmistakable Mazzanti style.
