Anniversaries in the car business tend to produce a special paint option and a plaque on the sill, but Lamborghini has built its own around something more specific: taking the styling language of a sixty-year-old car and grafting it onto the flagship it builds today. On 3 August 2026, from Sant'Agata Bolognese, Automobili Lamborghini marked the 60th anniversary of the Miura with exactly that idea, and the result is the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage. The Miura itself needs little introduction to anyone who knows the marque. Unveiled in 1966, it is regarded by many as the first super sports car the world had seen, and in its most powerful form it produced 385 CV and could exceed 290 km/h, figures that at that time set new benchmarks for what a road car could do. Add a design considered revolutionary and a styling identity nobody mistook for anything else, and the Miura earned a place among Lamborghini's most recognizable cars, one still read as shorthand for 1960s style.
To mark that anniversary, Lamborghini's Ad Personam program, working alongside Lamborghini Centro Stile, has built no less than 99 examples of the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage, a special series that takes cues from the Miura's styling and applies them to the marque's V12 HPEV flagship. The car will have its world premiere at Lamborghini Lounge Monterey, during Monterey Car Week. Underneath the Homage treatment sits the standard Revuelto, and that alone is worth stating plainly. It pairs Lamborghini's naturally aspirated V12 with a hybrid system for a combined 1,015 CV and 807 Nm of torque, enough to send the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds! Top speed runs past 350 km/h, and that powertrain is built around a 6.5-litre V12 mated to three electric motors, drawing from a lithium-ion battery tuned for high specific power, the combination Lamborghini calls its first V12 High Performance Electrified Vehicle.
Buyers choose from nine exterior colors, all drawn from shades once offered on the Miura itself: Rosso Arancio, Arancio, Giallo, Verde Scandal, Verde Metallic, Blu Tahiti, Blu Notte, Nero Noctis and Bianco Monocerus. Two dedicated liveries build on a trait common to many historic Miuras, where the lower body wears a shade that contrasts against the rest of the paintwork. Pick Oro Elios paired with Altanero Shiny Gold wheels, or go for Grigio Nimbus alongside Altanero Matt Titanium Diamond wheels, both pairings drawn from color combinations that were part of the Miura's original identity.
Exterior details carry the theme further: a Miura 60 logo sits above the Revuelto script on the side sill, close to the rear wheel arch, next to a gloss black Lamborghini rear logo recalling a detail from the original car. Brake calipers are finished in gloss black, and the exhaust tailpipes wear a matte black finish as well. Inside, the seats use the Classica Trim treatment to reinterpret the "cannelloni" pattern associated with the historic model, and the same leather carries on across the center tunnel, the door panels and the rear bulkhead separating cabin from engine bay. Between the two seats sits a "Miura 60" embroidery, another mark unique to the special series.
Owners of original Miuras who want their exact historic paint scheme, if it isn't among the nine on offer, can work with Ad Personam to have it recreated faithfully. Every car built also carries its own carbon-fiber plaque on the driver's side of the cabin, reading "Miura 60° – Serie Speciale 1 di 99," a number tied to that single example. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, frames the project around exclusivity rather than nostalgia for its own sake. "With the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage, we wanted to create a special series capable of celebrating a milestone in our history through an exclusive interpretation of our V12 HPEV super sports car," he said. "The combination of heritage-inspired liveries, exclusive Ad Personam details and production limited to just 99 examples expresses the connection between our heritage and the virtually limitless personalization capabilities that define Lamborghini. Automobili Lamborghini traces back to 1963 and Sant'Agata Bolognese, near Bologna, and today positions itself among the standout names in luxury super sports cars, built on a wholly Italian identity. The company describes itself as backed, in its own telling, by a worldwide following united around passion, craftsmanship and the people behind it, and points to motorsport as both a testing ground and a core part of what the brand is. Its history runs from the Miura through the Countach, Diablo and Aventador, and into limited runs such as the Sesto Elemento and Fenomeno, further to that a current line-up built around three families: Revuelto, its first V12 HPEV; Urus SE, its first plug-in hybrid Super SUV; and Temerario, which it positions as the benchmark V8 HPEV in its class. Each family also has its own extreme version, among them the Urus SE Performante, which Lamborghini calls the most performance-oriented expression of the brand.
