Buckmobile was an American automobile manufacturer that operated briefly from 1903 to 1905, based in Utica, New York. The company initially began as the Buckmobile Company in 1903, producing light two-seater roadsters. These vehicles were powered by a 10-horsepower, two-cylinder engine, which was mounted under the seat and utilized chain final drive. Customers had the option of choosing between air or water cooling for the engine.
In October 1904, Buckmobile merged with the Black Diamond Automobile Company, which also operated in Utica. Following the merger, production was relocated to a different factory. The models produced during the 1904-1905 period featured a slightly longer wheelbase and were equipped with engines rated at 15 horsepower. However, the production of Buckmobiles was limited, with no more than 40 units manufactured before the factory was sold in August 1905.
