Edis was a Spanish automobile manufacturer that operated between 1918 and 1922. Founded by Carlos Jaummandreu Martorell in Barcelona, the company produced a limited range of vehicles during its brief existence.
Edis offered two distinct models. The first was a light car equipped with a 2-cylinder, 1108cc engine, notable for its large bonnet design. This model participated in the III Bajo Peñadas Race, showcasing its performance capabilities. The second model, known as the A-2, featured a more powerful 4-cylinder engine, expanding the brand's offerings in the competitive automotive market of the time.
Despite its short lifespan, Edis contributed to the early automotive landscape in Spain, reflecting the growing interest in motor vehicles during the early 20th century.
