Autozodiaco was a prominent manufacturer of beach buggies in Italy, active from approximately 1971 to 1978. The company gained recognition for its distinctive buggies, particularly the Damaca, which was designed by Tom Tjaarda, a notable automotive designer known for his work on the DeTomaso Pantera.
In 1974, Autozodiaco expanded its product line by venturing into the microcar segment with the introduction of the Charly. This vehicle was characterized by its angular plastic bodywork and was a three-wheeled microcar powered by a 49cc Minarelli two-stroke engine. The Charly represented a shift in the company's focus towards smaller, more compact vehicles.
Production of Autozodiaco's vehicles transitioned to ALLCARS in 1978, marking the end of the brand's independent operations.
