The Corvette Genève was a one-off concept cabriolet built by ASC Incorporated, based on the Chevrolet Corvette. It made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1987, an occasion that gave the car its name. ASC was known for producing convertible conversions of coupés, but this particular creation stood out as an especially thorough reworking of the Corvette rather than a simple roof conversion, and a factory-built Corvette convertible had already existed since early 1986.
The Corvette Genève received an entirely new and considerably wider body skin. Its front end was more pronounced, featuring a distinctive spoiler lip that continued into flared side sill extensions. The front and rear side indicators, along with door handles that were barely visible, were integrated into a fine double line running along the body flanks, which included air outlet vents positioned behind the front wheel arches. The rear deck was notable for a wraparound rib design that flowed into a rear wing. The car rode on special wheels fitted with ZR 275/40 and 315/35 x 17 tyres, and featured a cockpit cover along with a leather interior.
Mechanically, it retained the Chevrolet Corvette's 5733 cc V8 engine, producing 243 hp at 4000 rpm and 468 Nm of torque at 3200 rpm. It had a wheelbase of 2440 mm and measured 4670 mm long, 1930 mm wide, and 1220 mm high. The Corvette theme was revisited by ASC again in later years.
