1996 Maggiora Barchetta Coupe

Maggiora presents a wide-ranging spectrum of proposal at the 66th Turin International Motor Show:

· the Coupé version of the Fiat Barchetta, with rounded lines joining at the rear in a spacious tailgate. Considerable attention has been focused on the interior with the use of blue-grey Connolly leather upholstery, door panels and roof and baggage compartment trims in ice blue Alcantara.

Taking the traditional car of the 1960s as a starting point, this prototype is reminiscent of the classic sportcars manufactured in Great Britain in that period. Like the spider from which it descends, the car is a neat 2-seater; it uses the same engine and the technical features are practically identical to those of the standard Barchetta.
