The I16, a successor to the BMW i8, emerged from the Vision M Next show car in 2019. It promised futuristic aesthetics with innovative design elements building upon the legacy of the M1. Utilizing the composite structure of the BMW i8, the I16 was poised to make its mark. However, due to shifting global circumstances in 2020, the project was halted. Yet, such is the nature of design endeavors, where dreams persist despite obstacles, leaving room for new ventures on the horizon.
