Dongfeng Nissan Terrano Concept

2026

Nissan presented the Terrano PHEV Concept at Auto China 2026, bringing back a name associated with the company’s earlier off-road vehicles. The concept was developed to serve both urban travel and outdoor use, combining plug-in hybrid technology with the practical direction of Nissan’s SUV range.

Its exterior has an upright body, short front overhang and considerable ground clearance. Narrow horizontal lights cross the front beneath the Nissan lettering, while a substantial bumper, exposed recovery points, large all-terrain tyres and roof-mounted equipment establish its off-road purpose. The straight roofline and nearly vertical rear section also provide the concept with more traditional utility-vehicle proportions.

Nissan has not disclosed the powertrain output, battery capacity, electric range or dimensions. A production version is scheduled to be unveiled within one year of the concept’s debut and is intended for selected international markets as well as China.
