Preston was an automobile built in Wichita, Kansas, in 1936 by Ben Preston, a local mechanic. Preston constructed a roadster using salvageable and workable parts drawn from twenty-five wrecked automobiles. According to Preston, some of these vehicles had belonged to gangsters, though most had simply been involved in ordinary but fatal traffic accidents.
