Falcon Cyclecar Company was established in 1913 in Staunton, Virginia, although its origins traced back to Cleveland, Ohio. The company specialized in the production of cyclecars, a type of lightweight automobile that gained popularity in the early 20th century. All manufacturing activities were conducted in Virginia, where the company aimed to differentiate its offerings from competitors.

The Falcon cyclecar featured an air-cooled V-twin engine, which was a notable aspect of its design. It utilized a friction transmission system and a belt final drive. One of the unique characteristics of the Falcon was its innovative control mechanism for the transmission, which employed a wheel integrated into the steering wheel. This design allowed drivers to change gears without leaning forward, enhancing convenience during operation.

Despite its advancements, the Falcon cyclecar included some features that were considered outdated by the time of its production. Notably, it utilized center-pivot steering, where the entire front axle turned with the wheels, a design that had already begun to fall out of favor. The vehicle's aesthetic included a rounded bonnet positioned far back behind the front axle, and it was designed without doors, reflecting the simplicity and utilitarian nature of early cyclecars. The company operated for a brief period, ceasing production in 1914.
