Columbia was an American automobile brand established in 1914 by the American Cyclecar Company, based in Seattle, Washington. The company aimed to produce cyclecars, a lightweight and economical type of automobile that gained popularity in the early 20th century.

The Columbia cyclecar featured a friction transmission and a belt final drive, which were characteristic of the cyclecar design. Notably, it incorporated overhead valves (OHVs) in its 2-cylinder engine, a feature that was somewhat uncommon for vehicles of that era.

Despite the innovative design elements, the Columbia faced significant delays in production due to constant changes in its design. By the time the vehicle was ready for market, the cyclecar boom had already diminished, leading to the brand's eventual decline and obscurity in the automotive landscape.
