Collins Motors Inc. was an American automobile manufacturer that operated briefly from 1919 to 1921. The company was founded by Albert H. Collins, who previously led Wolverine Motors Inc. in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Wolverine Motors had produced a limited number of sporting cars, including models equipped with a Rochester-Duesenberg four-cylinder engine, before ceasing operations.
Collins aimed to create a diverse range of automobiles that would blend utility, economy, and sporting characteristics. He announced plans for a new car intended for the 1920 model year; however, this vehicle never materialized. By mid-1921, the company shifted focus to developing a high-end speedster, which was priced at $5,500. Upon its completion, this model was branded as the "Collinet." Despite these ambitious plans, it appears that no Collins automobiles were ever produced beyond promotional materials, and the company ultimately ceased operations shortly thereafter.
