Guildford was a British automobile manufacturer that emerged in the early 20th century, specifically in 1920. The company was based in Guildford, Surrey, and operated under the name Griffith’s Engineering Works.

The Guildford cyclecar was notable for its aesthetic appeal, distinguishing it from many contemporaneous models. It utilized an 8 horsepower V-twin engine sourced from Blackburne, coupled with a chain drive system. Despite its attractive design, the company lacked the production capabilities to manufacture the vehicle in significant quantities. Consequently, Griffith’s Engineering Works sought to sell the entire project, but there were no buyers. It is suggested that the car may have been produced briefly under a different name, although details remain unclear.
