Company Name: Elieson Lamina Accumulator Syndicate Ltd
Place: Camden Town, London
Country: United Kingdom
Elieson Swan was a British automobile manufacturer that operated briefly from 1897 to 1898. The company was established as Elieson Lamina Accumulator Syndicate Ltd, based in Camden Town, London. It specialized in the production of light electric vehicles, notably a four-seater model that featured chain drive and a very narrow track for its front wheels.
In addition to the standard passenger vehicle, Elieson Swan also offered versions intended for use as taxicabs and delivery vans. However, it remains uncertain whether these variants were ever produced. The batteries for the vehicles were supplied by Elieson, but the actual manufacturing of the cars was carried out by John Warrick & Co. Ltd, located in Reading, Berkshire. This company later became known for producing a three-wheeled parcel car. Despite its short existence, Elieson Swan contributed to the early development of electric vehicles in the United Kingdom.
