Brand Data

Dunsmore Motor Traction was a British kit car manufacturer based in Stretton-on-Dunsmore, Warwickshire.

The company's prototype vehicle was a classic-style roadster that used a Vauxhall Ventora engine together with an Austin Westminster rear axle. Production versions of the car switched to Jaguar mechanicals, mounted in an underslung steel ladder chassis, although in theory any engine could be fitted to the design.

The car's construction was unusual in that it combined a steel tube body frame with body panels made of fabric-covered plywood or steel. Its overall character was deliberately old-fashioned, featuring a beam front axle, leaf spring suspension at both front and rear, friction dampers, non-servo drum brakes, and a large-diameter steering wheel.
