Auriga was a British automotive brand that operated from 1990 to 1998, initially based in Chelmsford, Essex. The company was founded by Lee Noble, who designed a sports car inspired by the Lotus 23. This model was briefly marketed as the NOBLE 23 before the brand transitioned to Espero Ltd in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire.

The Auriga sports car featured a fully triangulated space frame chassis, which provided structural integrity and performance. Its suspension system was specifically designed to utilize Ford Cortina uprights, enhancing its handling capabilities. The bodywork was constructed from fiberglass, contributing to a lightweight design. Auriga offered a range of engine options, including mid-mounted Ford or Lotus four-cylinder engines, Renault four-cylinder engines, and V6 engines, paired with an Alfasud transaxle and braking system.

Despite its short-lived production run, Auriga's innovative design and engineering reflected the era's enthusiasm for lightweight sports cars.
