Black Baron was a small automotive manufacturer based in Alicante, Spain, operational from 1996 to 1998. Founded by German entrepreneur Rolf Menke, the company specialized in producing a unique vehicle known as the Drcamster. This model was built on a Volkswagen Beetle chassis and was characterized by its two-seater configuration and plastic body.
The Drcamster featured a range of Volkswagen engines, with power outputs varying from 44 horsepower to 158 horsepower, the latter being derived from the Golf GTI. Notably, the vehicle's design included optional features such as doors and a folding roof, which were not standard. During its brief production run, approximately 20 units of the Drcamster were constructed, marking the company's limited but distinctive contribution to the automotive landscape.
