xO Design Labs was a South African industrial design studio based in the Cape Town area and led by Abdul Gakiem Fakier. Its work covered several fields, including composite products, boats, motorhomes, and automotive design. In automotive terms, the studio appeared to have operated more as a design and engineering consultancy than as a production car manufacturer.
Its main vehicle project was the xO 500, presented in 2013 as a two-seat ultralight sports car design. The car was shown as a mid-engine concept and was the clearest automotive model associated with the studio.
