Bjering was a Norwegian automobile manufacturer active from 1918 to 1920, founded by H.C. Bjering in Gjøvik. The company produced a limited number of unique vehicles characterized by a tandem seating arrangement, where the driver sat behind the passenger, reminiscent of early designs such as the BF.DELIA.
The initial five vehicles produced by Bjering featured wooden bodies and were equipped with an air-cooled V4 engine positioned between the driver and passenger. These cars were notably utilized by country police, allowing the driver to monitor any arrested individuals seated in front. Additionally, the vehicles could be adapted for winter use by replacing the front wheels with skis.
The final two Bjering cars were manufactured by A/S Rautoss Ammunisjonsfabrikker, an ammunitions company. These later models underwent significant redesigns, incorporating metal bodies and an in-line 4-cylinder engine located at the rear, behind the back wheels. One of these vehicles remains in the possession of the ammunitions company.
