Vision Automobiles Paris was a French hypercar startup established in 2019 by Thomas Castex and Florian Gravouil, with designer Martin Chatelier involved early in the project. Registered in Fontenay-le-Fleury, France, the company set out to blend endurance-racing know-how with luxury coachbuilding. Its first and only announced model, the Vision 1789, was a two-seat, Le Mans-inspired prototype that used a twin-turbo V8 configured to run on biomethane, with a multi-fuel approach also described to include natural-gas/hydrogen compatibility. Output figures of more than 1,000 hp were claimed for development prototypes. The brand positioned the car as a road-legal “prototype in evening dress,” reflecting both motorsport ergonomics and bespoke interior finishing.
Vision Automobiles Paris pursued a Garage 56 invitation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, targeting a 2023 appearance; the concept did not reach the grid. Public communications between 2020 and 2022 focused on technical partners and show appearances while series production was not confirmed. No corporate acquisition or formal wind-down was announced; as of the mid-2020s the company remained a small Paris-area venture centered on the 1789 concept.
