Poinard

1951-1952

Brand Data

Poinard was a French manufacturer of motorcycle sidecars that also attempted to enter microcar production.

The company's three-wheeler retained motorcycle-style handlebar steering directed at a single front wheel, along with a saddle seat for the driver. Behind the driver was a bench capable of seating two passengers. The vehicle was powered by a 125cc single-cylinder Ydral engine producing 4bhp, an output considered inadequate for transporting three occupants.
