Exagon Motors was a French boutique automotive company founded in 2009 as a division of Exagon Engineering, headquartered at Magny-Cours. It emerged from Exagon Engineering’s motorsport and race-engineering background and focused on developing high-performance electric road cars. The company unveiled its first and only completed model—the Furtive-eGT—at the Paris Motor Show in 2010. A refined pre-production version appeared at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The Furtive-eGT was designed as a four-seat electric grand tourer with a carbon-fiber and honeycomb monocoque chassis and alloy subframes, using advanced composite bodywork and a 2+2 seating layout. Power was delivered by two liquid-cooled Siemens electric motors, each rated at 148 kW (for a combined output of around 402 hp), coupled with a three-speed semi-automatic transmission. This drivetrain enabled acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.5 seconds and an electronically limited top speed around 250 km/h (though its unrestricted capability was close to 287 km/h). The car was equipped with a 53 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which was claimed to deliver a city range near 360 km (223 miles). Despite the promising technology, production was limited and the Furtive-eGT ultimately remained a low-volume specialty vehicle rather than entering mass production.
