D'Yrsan was a French automobile manufacturer founded by Raymond Siran in 1923, based in Asnières, Seine. The company specialized in producing three-wheeled vehicles, becoming one of the most recognized brands in this niche alongside Darmont and Sandford. Siran, who had previously collaborated with Stewart Sandford, established d'Yrsan after a disagreement regarding the quality of his automotive designs.

The d'Yrsan vehicles were characterized by their distinctive design, particularly the prominent "Y" emblem on the radiator. The initial model, known as the Type A, featured a 904cc side-valve four-cylinder Ruby engine and utilized a tubular frame with chain drive to a single rear wheel. In 1926, the company expanded its lineup with the introduction of the Type RS, which offered a more powerful 972cc engine, and the DS model, which boasted a 1097cc engine producing 35 brake horsepower. The d'Yrsan models were available in both touring and sports configurations, with the latter featuring flared wings and a pond tail design. A limited number of streamlined competition models, known as the Scarabee, were also produced.

Recognizing a shift in consumer preferences away from three-wheeled vehicles, Siran introduced a four-wheeled light car in 1927. This new model could be equipped with either the independent front suspension of the three-wheelers or a beam front axle. Engine options included the 972cc and 1097cc Ruby engines, with a smaller 750cc engine used in a 1929 Le Mans entry to comply with class regulations. The four-wheeled models were available in both low and normal frame configurations, with options for two-door coupe or sports bodies. In total, d'Yrsan produced approximately 587 vehicles, including 530 three-wheelers and 50 four-wheelers, before ceasing operations in 1930. A proposed model featuring an 1100cc six-cylinder engine was never realized.
