Claude Delage was a French automobile manufacturer founded in 1926 in Clichy, Seine. The brand was established by Claude Delage, who was not related to the more renowned Louis Delage. The company focused on producing conventional touring cars that were characterized by their simplicity and practicality, in contrast to the more luxurious offerings of other manufacturers of the time.
The vehicles produced by Claude Delage were powered by either a 1685cc Ballot engine or an 1843cc four-cylinder Sergant engine. These cars featured four-speed gearboxes and shaft drive systems, allowing them to achieve a top speed of approximately 37 mph (60 km/h). Despite their modest specifications, the cars were designed to meet the needs of everyday drivers.
In addition to automobiles, Claude Delage briefly ventured into the motorcycle market in 1925. However, this endeavor was short-lived, much like the automotive production, which did not gain significant traction in the competitive market of the era. Ultimately, the brand's production ceased, and it faded from the automotive landscape.
