Brissonet was a French automotive brand founded in 1953, based in Neuilly, Seine. The company initially gained success with the commercialization of the Speed scooter, which laid the groundwork for its subsequent ventures into the automotive sector.
In 1953, Brissonet introduced the Soucoupe Roulante at the Paris Salon, marking its entry into the microcar market. This vehicle was characterized by its compact design, being a doorless, open three-wheeler that weighed only 150 kg. It was powered by a 200cc two-stroke engine coupled with a three-speed gearbox. Despite its innovative design, the project did not progress beyond the prototype stage and ultimately remained stillborn.
