Bohnstedt-Petcrscn AS was a Danish automotive manufacturer based in Copenhagen, established in 1950. The company aimed to produce a postwar vehicle that drew inspiration from the prewar D.K.W. model, specifically its 2-cylinder engine.
The design concept involved utilizing second-hand D.K.W. engines within a newly developed conventional box-section frame. The vehicle was intended to feature hydraulic brakes and an all-enveloping body style that bore a resemblance to the contemporary Borgward 1 $00. However, the project faced significant challenges, primarily due to a shortage of suitable second-hand engines. Additionally, the availability of new D.K.W. vehicles produced in both West and East Germany further hindered the company's efforts, ultimately leading to the abandonment of the project.
