the swiss company classic factory which already announced the production of the jaguar e-type-inspired lyonheart k model at the end of february is going one step further. it has just announced that the production of this unique state-of-the-art tribute will be manufactured in a very strictly limited edition of just 250 units worldwide. 175 units will be sold in europe, 25 in middle east, 50 in china.
newly presented is a convertible version of the lyonheart k which will be offered alongside the coupe model. both versions will be manufactured in coventry, united kingdom by envisage manufacturing.
the power aggregate for the car will be a supercharged cosworth 5.0-liter v8 engine good enough for 575 hp and 700 nm of torque. this ensures the top speed of 300 km/h (electronically limited) and acceleration to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds.
for the interior, the manufacturer made no compromises. selected are only the best and most refined materials like leather, veneer, polished stainless steel, brushed aluminum, chromed metal and as the company says “nothing else”.
also, in comparison to the previous statement, the company now states that the price for the “k” “will remain well under 400'000 euro before tax”. first deliveries are scheduled for the beginning of 2014.
