Culebra International Ltd. was a kit car manufacturer based in San Luis Obispo, California, operational from approximately 1991 to 1995. The company specialized in creating custom vehicles that drew inspiration from well-known sports cars.
One of the notable models produced by Culebra was the Corvette Culebra, which featured design elements reminiscent of the Ferrari Testarossa, including distinctive side strakes, as well as modified nose and tail sections. This model was adapted for the Chevrolet Corvette starting from the 1984 model year.
Another significant offering from Culebra was the Diavalo, a replica of the Ferrari F40, which utilized the chassis of the Pontiac Fiero. The Diavalo was available in two versions, with the more expensive variant requiring modifications such as a lowered roofline and a steeper windshield angle. Both models were sold in kit form, allowing customers the option to assemble the vehicles themselves or purchase them fully assembled.
