Country: United States

Brasie Motor Car Company was established in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1914 by Frank R. Brasie. Prior to founding the company, Brasie had developed the I'win City truck, which laid the groundwork for his foray into the automobile industry. He utilized a design created by J.M. Michaelson, who had previously produced a limited number of cyclecars under his own name.

The Brasie vehicles featured a water-cooled 12-horsepower, four-cylinder engine, distinguishing them from Michaelson's air-cooled models. The company produced three main models: the Messenger, available in both two-seater and four-seater configurations, and the Packet delivery van. These vehicles were equipped with friction transmission and belt drive systems.

In 1916, the company underwent a rebranding, changing its name to Packet Motor Car Manufacturing Company. The vehicles were subsequently renamed Packet, with a significant shift in focus towards manufacturing delivery vans. However, this venture was short-lived, as the company ceased operations by 1917.
