Ringsped Ltd was a British automotive manufacturer based in Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, that operated from 1989 to 1992. The company was known for its innovative approach to small city cars, particularly through the design of a compact two-seater vehicle styled by Richard Oakes of Anglo Design.

The most distinctive feature of the Ringsped car was its external chassis, which utilized 2½-inch tubes that were visible from the outside. The body panels were made of polypropylene and were bolted onto the chassis, contributing to a unique aesthetic. The vehicle incorporated mechanical components from the Ford Fiesta, including a 1.0-litre engine, a 5-speed gearbox, and 4-wheel disc brakes, which provided a reliable foundation for the car's performance.

Ringsped intended to offer its vehicles both as fully assembled cars and in kit form, allowing customers the option to build their own vehicles. However, the company faced financial challenges, and the necessary funding for a full production run did not materialize. Despite these setbacks, at least five prototypes of the two-seater model were constructed, and there were plans for a longer four-seater variant that was also under development during the company's brief existence.
