Gillyard was a British cyclecar built by the Barkerend Engineering Co. Ltd, based in Bradford, Yorkshire. The vehicle was powered by an 8hp Chater-Lea two-cylinder engine and used chain final drive. In 1920, The Autocar reported that the manufacture of the Chater-Lea cyclecar would be taken over by the makers of the Gillyard, to be marketed under the Gillyard name.
