Conan

Conan Cars was a small manufacturer based in Manchester, Lancashire, known for producing a replica of the Lamborghini Countach called the Conan Terminator.

The car's space frame chassis was said to be based on a Lotus Esprit backbone, though it was regarded as awkwardly engineered. Its fibreglass body panels were reportedly derived from a genuine Lamborghini, but were considered to be of poor quality.

Mechanically, the Conan Terminator used a mid-mounted Rover V8 engine paired with a Volkswagen Beetle transmission, and it was also offered with a Volkswagen Beetle engine option. This combination of components, along with the car's name, was viewed as lacking credibility for a vehicle intended to emulate the Lamborghini Countach.
