Goggomobil was a brand of small cars produced in Spain by Munguia Industrial SA, based in Munguia-Bilbao. The production of Spanish Goggomobils commenced in 1962, following plans that had been laid out in the late 1950s. The initial model introduced was the T-300, which featured a 2-cylinder, 296cc engine capable of producing 14.8 brake horsepower.
In 1964, the lineup expanded with the introduction of the T-350 and T-400 models, which offered increased power outputs of 17 and 18.5 brake horsepower, respectively. Notably, the T-350 was an exclusively Spanish version, while the T-400-S variant featured a longer body, providing additional space for rear seats. This model measured 121.5 inches in length, compared to the standard 117.5 inches of the earlier models. The Goggomobil range also included a station wagon and a delivery van, both built on the same chassis.
The Spanish Goggomobils were distinct from their German counterparts, and approximately 5,000 units were produced during the brand's operational years, which lasted until 1966. The vehicles participated in various racing events, including a national competition dedicated solely to these small cars, highlighting their presence in the automotive culture of the time.
