Echarri Motor International SL was a Spanish automotive manufacturer based in Lardero, La Rioja. The company specialized in creating unique vehicles, particularly focusing on roundabout and parish fair implements.
In 1996, Echarri introduced a vintage-style open car at the Barcelona Motor Fair. This vehicle featured a fibreglass tonneau body and utilized a Fiat Cinquecento engine, which produced 30 horsepower. The car was built on a purpose-designed tubular chassis and included distinctive elements such as special headlamps, a venial windscreen, spoked wheels, and an external handbrake lever. Additionally, it incorporated a chain drive for the rear wheels and a mock crank-starter, contributing to its authentic vintage appearance.
In 1999, José Luis Echarri developed a replica of the Jaguar 100, which was based on a Volkswagen Beetle chassis and engine. This model utilized sheet metal for its body, further showcasing the company's commitment to creating unique automotive designs.
