Bertrand was a French automobile manufacturer that operated between 1921 and 1924, founded by M. Bertrand in Poitiers, France. The company specialized in producing lightweight sports cars, which were notable for their engineering and performance.

The Bertrand vehicles were equipped with a 903cc four-cylinder Ruby engine, paired with a three-speed gearbox. The design featured a shaft drive to a countershaft, with final drive accomplished through belts. For their sports models, Bertrand utilized more powerful engines, including a 970cc Ruby engine and a 1098cc overhead valve C1MF engine. These models gained recognition for their competitive performance in various races and hill climbs.

Despite the limited production run, with approximately 30 units manufactured, some Bertrand cars were exported to Spain and Portugal, contributing to the brand's brief but notable presence in the automotive market.
