2025 Sbarro Héritage ESX

The Sbarro Héritage ESX (2025) is a striking tribute to one of motorsport’s most iconic legends: the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupé. Conceived as a pedagogical project, this one-off prototype was entirely imagined, designed, and hand-built by 25 students from the ESPERA Sbarro – UTBM program over the course of just five months.

Far more than a simple homage, the Héritage ESX reflects the students’ collective passion for automotive design and engineering. From the ground up, every component of the vehicle was custom-made — from its multitubular steel chassis to its bespoke bodywork, echoing the aggressive lines and racing soul of its inspiration.

Under the hood, the car is powered by a 5.0-liter Ford V8, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, delivering the raw mechanical engagement true to its racing roots. Weighing in at just 1,150 kg, the ESX promises an agile and visceral driving experience, further enhanced by 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

The 2025 Héritage ESX stands not only as a rolling piece of tribute art but also as a testament to the creativity, craftsmanship, and teamwork of the next generation of automotive innovators.
